Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud

There are days where we see dark clouds, there are days where we see a heavy rainfall, within every cloud, there is a silver lining. From every patch of rain, somewhere there is a rainbow to be found.

We all must have experienced such days where we experienced heavy pain, you lost a lover or friend, or you experienced the pain of death, or maybe life just threw one too many curve balls at once and you just felt sad for a while. You felt that these clouds won’t pass and the rain just won’t stop falling. No matter what life is not always filled with sunshine.

With this knowledge in mind there is a simple yet incredibly powerful perspective that we can all choose to embrace; that each person you come across is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Whether it’s internally or externally, every person you meet is dealing with something that is challenging for them.

We can’t change the pain, but atlist we can make that person feel happy? We can encourage that person by saying that you are doing good, we can complement a person to make him/her feel strong? We each have the power to give to one another in a way that is meaningful and impact.

To be the rainbow in someone’s cloud means to cultivate loving kindness as a daily practice in your life. It means tuning in to your heart, practicing empathy and using that empathy to connect to the people around you in a meaningful way. We all have the opportunity to be someone’s rainbow.

Be it anything, even a simple thing can make someone’s day much better. Once I complimented a women in train on my way to college, that she looks beautiful, with that she replied by smiling that she was going for a important meeting and she was not sure about her look but then she said now I feel little confident, and she was thankful to me.

Your small little thing can change a day of the other person, be like rainbow have happy colors around you and spread happiness. There is a saying “if you can’t find good people then be the one”.

Thank you,

Stay happy and healthy 😊

The one where I tried to dress up like Rachel and Monica

So no one told your life was gonna be this way.. your job’s a joke or you’re broke, your love life’s DOA.
You must me thinking why am I singing this, I’ll tell you but before that hello to everyone welcome back to my page, I am glad that everyone of you are doing fine but on the same time we all are bored. I know I know we are going through same situation. I have lately been watching Friends on Netflix as I have watched the series for several time’s this time I have noticed Rachel and Monica’s wardrobe and I am totally obsessed with their outfits. Their outfits were not only incredibly stylish back then, but they are making a comeback in today’s fashion. Here are few of their outfits I tried styling it in my way.

The one with plaid skirt

A plaid skirt has become a trend now a days as it look very pretty and give us a old school vibes. This is a perfect outfit to go out with your friends be it a movie or club.

The one with Yellow and grey Combo

A yellow and grey combo is my personal favorite as yellow is a happy sunny colour, which makes you and your outfit look happier.

The one with overall

When you can’t decide what to where go for a overall dress, Rachel has rocked in this outfit. It’s a perfect dress for outing.

The one with Cami top

Looking for a solution for the jeans and nice top dilemma? Well, Monica has few we love her simple red cami’s paired with jeans

The one with denim on denim

While we’re still struggling in 2020 to pull off an all denim look, Monica brought out big gun back in 1994. A denim on denim is full bossy look with a perfect pair of shoes to go with it.

The one with checkered shirt

Monica’s go to look was the checkered shirt. I personally loved her this outfit it look so comfortable yet so classy.

I hope you liked it, now don’t wait go and try to do some experiments with your outfits.

Thank you and stay safe 🙂

Social Distancing > social life

If someone had told you just six months ago, that the world was going to change and you would probably be in lockdown in your home or the city that you live in would be ravaged by fear. How would you have reacted? Sounds like science fiction does it not? A virus that affected one human, and in a matter of months spread around the globe! what will come in your mind if this were told to you 6 month before?
You would have stressed about economy, you would have worried about how will you feed your family, other’s may have also worried about going out, partying, celebrating etc. But importantly did you noticed? We have overcome with all these problems.
With all those difficult time we had or even now people who are suffering have fought with all the difficulties.

Being a Mumbaikar a life in lockdown was not easy a place where people’s dream come true a city which never sleeps. But we all did pretty well.
We learned the importance of family during this lockdown. We realised how we cared about each other, we realised the importance of friends. But also at the same time, we have become the owner of our own time and our own space.
I know soon life will again overwhelm me with its pace and challenge, while I’m waiting to embrace life with the same zest.

I pray soon everything will be right in their place And everyone to have a happy and healthy life.

Be Summer Cool

It’s almost a month since summer has started and it’s only getting hotter and hotter day by day when we talk but summer in India everyone carries a different story. All we do is sit inside Ac and feel good? But is that good for your health? NO. Ac may make you feel cool but it dehydrated your skin. Ac cools the air in your room by sucking all the moisture out of it, which create dry vapor less air, it works on the same way on your skin, by sucking the moisture out of it. What can you do, to make yourself feel hydrated and less dizzy?
Here are few tips which may help you.

1- Drink as much water as you can and exercise daily.

During summer when sun’s heat drains all the energy from your body, you don’t feel like doing anything.. You just want to lie down and feel the air. But it won’t help you to feel cool. For that you need to drink water frequently after every half an hour. Water keeps you moist from inside and will keep you hydrated. Coconut water is best in summer. Also you should workout everyday as your body need’s moment and flexibility to keep you fit.

2- Use lotion or aloeveera

By eating and drinking water you can keep yourself hydrated from inside but what about your outside skin? During summer your skin gets reddish, you may feel itchy what to do to protect our outer skin? You should apply Nievea aloe hydration body lotion is good one to opt for because its light formula gentally hydrates the skin. If you don’t have lotion, you can also use Aloeveera. Aloeveera alone is known for its soothing property it helps to treat sunburn, rashes, and remove redness.

3 – Make your own cool spray

Whenever you feel hot, all we do is wash our face with cold water to make us feel good but cold water is not enough. Here is a recipe of a spray which will help you to feel fresh.

All you have to do is Cut up small cucumber and blend it, then take out the cucumber paste and put it into a clean cloth, squeeze all its juice in a bowl, add 1 tps of aloeveera and 1/2 cup of water, mix it well and pour it in a spray bottle and get yourself a cool and fresh spray for your body.

4- Avoid aerated Drinks

When you see ad where a person drinks a soda, thumbsup, pepsi etc you too feel to drink it but it won’t help you to stay cool. Instead you can drink lemonade, coconut juice, fruit juice, kokam, amla juice etc. The aerated juice is not good for your health during summers.

5- What to eat

Using curd in your every lunch is a good idea as curd itself is a good product. Use cumin seed(jeera) as it calm your nerves and aid your fat burning effect in summer. You can take 1 tps jeera in a water and drink it warm after 30 min of your meal. Eat lot of fresh and juicy fruits it will keep you hydrated.

So these were few tips which may help you to keep yourself hydrated and be summer cool.

It’s starts from small things…

When people say “Shurvat chote se karo, success zaroor milega” they are somewhere true. As I have said many a time, everyone wants to be successful, be settle, build a bright future, but before building a future we need to build our own self and building yourself is not like a Lego game which will be done within few hours or it’s not gonna happen over a night.

It will happen slowly and gradually, it will happen when we focus on small things first, like unwrapping the tangled mess of your hair, picking up the brush and getting rid of one knot at a time. It may sound crazy but I swear if you pay attention on these small things you will feel change in yourself. Like smiling at your reflection in mirror and getting dressed each morning, even if you are not stepping out. Or maybe even to get some fresh air and coffee. Or maybe changing your look, a look in which you feel good. It’s about the tiny things that you do each day that bring you closer to feeling warm again.

It’s about being a person who care, who makes the effort for becoming a person who loves without hesitation. Be the person who bares it all, the person who never shies away from the depth of their feeling or intensity of their hope. Be the person who believe in the softness of the world, on the goodness of other people believing their are good people too. Be a person who take chance who refuse to hide. Trust me when I say be a person who care! Because the world doesn’t need more carelessness anymore disregard because there is nothing stronger than someone who continue to stay soft in the world that hasn’t always been kind to them. 🙂

Just a thought…

It was a cold breezy night, I was traveling with my family.. As it was past midnight everyone was asleep. I was there sitting enjoying the view from window, my mind full of positive thoughts, I was happy somewhere in my corner of  life. I realized something— that happiness was never about getting job, getting graduated or being in relationship.

Happiness was not about going ahead of everyone, showing that you are on top. But one day we are going to realize that happiness is all about the discovery, the hope turning into reality, seeing yourself growing, happiness was always about being kinder to yourself, it was about embracing the person you are becoming, realizing that love is not always about being in relationship. One day we will realize happiness was how you taught lesson to yourself, how we learned to live.. That your happiness was not in others hand.

There is no denying that people around you are going to make you happy are going to support you, but in the end it’s always about you and your own self. It’s never too late or in my case too early to be whoever you want to be. So next time when you are traveling have a thought on it 😉

Street Style – Part 2

Hello guys, as you all know these days I’m more into kpop culture. I know some of you guys aren’t into kpop but there is no denying that K-fashion is really trendy and pretty cool.

Do you know why is the Korean fashion popular? Usually, in many countries some people care about their fashion some don’t, but when it comes to Korea “appearance” is considered very important. The everyday outfit that contributes to the k-fashion wardrobe is effortlessly chic, and unique making the viewer wanting for more. I’m personally getting fascinated by their style so here are few k-pop trends that you should definitely try on:)

Long Jacket:

A casual top, jeans and a waterfall Jacket is the most comfortable thing to wear in winter. It’s warm enough and looks great with the quintessential fall outfit.

Oversize:

Who doesn’t want an outfit which looks great and is effortless? A way to style this and to create a balanced silhouette is to combine an oversized item with a tighter or shorts or tights.

School skirt:

Reveal your legs!
The skirt trend in Korea is trending for many years and there doesn’t seem to be a change happening anytime soon. A mini skirt goes well with many occasions be it going on a date or a get together with friends or maybe a Concert! Tucking in your shirt/T-shirt can effectively enhance your waistline.

Hat:

An appropriate accessory is what you need to complete your outfit. And a bucket hat is the perfect one as a kfashion trend.

It’s just a matter of Acceptance!

Really? Yes I know when you read the title many things may have popped up in your head things which are stopping you, things which are not letting you go and be free. Acceptance is a key, it unlocks the denial, fear, and negativity of a circumstance we may face by opening the door for us to face it head-on. In simple term, it’s about ‘getting real’.
It’s very difficult to go through life when your core belief about yourself is that you are incompetent and do not count. When you have no sense of your own value, you are like a leaf in a wind, dependent! Which you should not..!
As I know this year for me was full of surprises (this was Sarcastic) where I had to accept few things, where I had to accept I have to leave few people behind, where I have to accept the upcoming things which might turn a beautiful miracle… Which did.
Accept it few things are not meant to happen.. accept it every time it’s not your fault… Accept it You are Capable of things around you.
We need to develop the habit of looking at whatever happens through a positive mindset instead of a negative.
I discovered that I was happier and more peaceful when I accepted what had happened instead of constantly fighting to change things. It also helps you to move from feeling happy to actually being happy…
So now it’s your time to accept things and be happy
🙂

Iss Diwali App kya karoge?

It was a dark moonless night when lord Ram the King of Ayodhya returned home with his wife Sita, after killing the demon Ravan. To honour and to rejoice the homecoming of King and Queen we celebrate Diwali.

No doubt, Diwali is the biggest festival for Indians. Where the house’s, institute, offices, our neighbourhood are full of lights, happiness, joy. Everything on this day feels positive be it decorating our house, eating delicious sweets, Dad’s surprise gift.. or maybe getting ready! Yaa for me this is the most exciting part!!

When I walk on the road during Diwali the glittery lights around me, the happy faces spread good vibes.. which is the best part of it.

Diwali is a festival that signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. However, in recent year, the extravagant celebration has not only put a great strain on the environment but also on people’s health.

It may seem a festival full of fun but the effects are not. As this year was full of environmental effect… How everything is changing drastically, be it plastic waste or maybe cutting down trees, we are creating more problems for our future. The Cracker cause pollution which fills the air with sulphur dioxide & carbon monoxide which are harmful to our health.

So why not this year we have little change? Let’s celebrate crackerless Diwali. Maybe our little change may create more happiness. I always use to like the tagline of Cadbury “iss Diwali app kise khush karoge”

So this year I made my own tagline..

” Iss Diwali app bhi ek umid ka diya Jalaye… Or apni Dharti ko pradushan se bachaye”.

Happy Diwali to all of you:)

Work Hard Do Good One Life To Live.

Before even explaining the title I would like to tell you guys one story. One day karma and bhagya was having a fight where karma was saying he is more powerful then bhagya because if you do hard work then only it will pay you off  whereas bhagya was saying No I’m more powerful because if it’s meant to be your’s it will, “mere bhagya me Hoga to muje milega”. After having a long fight they weren’t getting there answer! finally, Narad muni came and told them to visit Mahadev to get their answer he is the only person who has all the answers  to our questions. Both karma and bhagya went to Kailash and met Mahadev they asked him for their answer… Mahadev then told them to spend a night in an old cave, the next morning they will get the answer. Both of them agreed and went inside.

As the cave was old it wasn’t clean, it was dust all around.. which karma didn’t like he was complaining about it. Whereas bhagya said, “this is what must be written in my life that’s why I’m here”. Karma got angry  Ignoring bhagya’s statement he started cleaning the cave. After a few hours karma was starving but, there wasn’t anything to eat. Whereas bhagya said there must not be meal written in my life for today that’s why I m not getting. Karma again got angry and started searching for something to eat after a lot of struggle he finally found a bowl of peanuts. He happily started eating those peanuts and gave small stone’s to bhagya to eat, karma was teasing bhagya that this is what is written in his life. The next morning  Shivji came and asked both if they got the answer? karma replied yes we got, I m more powerful because I struggled a lot because of which I got peanut to eat and bhagya got stones. Shivji asked bhagya to see the stone’s and by miracle, those stone turned into Pearls… With this shivji explained you both are one person If you work hard and do good things in your life your bhagya will definitely change.

If we relate this story with our life… Currently everyone of us are in a situation where we are struggling and having hard time but friends don’t loose your hope keep going.. your bhagya will definitely change… Never stop… your hard work will pay off very soon. And when that day will come you will be proud of yourself that you crossed all the barrier and reached to your goal.

That’s why work Hard Do Good One Life To Live.
