Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud

There are days where we see dark clouds, there are days where we see a heavy rainfall, within every cloud, there is a silver lining. From every patch of rain, somewhere there is a rainbow to be found.

We all must have experienced such days where we experienced heavy pain, you lost a lover or friend, or you experienced the pain of death, or maybe life just threw one too many curve balls at once and you just felt sad for a while. You felt that these clouds won’t pass and the rain just won’t stop falling. No matter what life is not always filled with sunshine.

With this knowledge in mind there is a simple yet incredibly powerful perspective that we can all choose to embrace; that each person you come across is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Whether it’s internally or externally, every person you meet is dealing with something that is challenging for them.

We can’t change the pain, but atlist we can make that person feel happy? We can encourage that person by saying that you are doing good, we can complement a person to make him/her feel strong? We each have the power to give to one another in a way that is meaningful and impact.

To be the rainbow in someone’s cloud means to cultivate loving kindness as a daily practice in your life. It means tuning in to your heart, practicing empathy and using that empathy to connect to the people around you in a meaningful way. We all have the opportunity to be someone’s rainbow.

Be it anything, even a simple thing can make someone’s day much better. Once I complimented a women in train on my way to college, that she looks beautiful, with that she replied by smiling that she was going for a important meeting and she was not sure about her look but then she said now I feel little confident, and she was thankful to me.

Your small little thing can change a day of the other person, be like rainbow have happy colors around you and spread happiness. There is a saying “if you can’t find good people then be the one”.

Thank you,

Stay happy and healthy 😊

Social Distancing > social life

If someone had told you just six months ago, that the world was going to change and you would probably be in lockdown in your home or the city that you live in would be ravaged by fear. How would you have reacted? Sounds like science fiction does it not? A virus that affected one human, and in a matter of months spread around the globe! what will come in your mind if this were told to you 6 month before?
You would have stressed about economy, you would have worried about how will you feed your family, other’s may have also worried about going out, partying, celebrating etc. But importantly did you noticed? We have overcome with all these problems.
With all those difficult time we had or even now people who are suffering have fought with all the difficulties.

Being a Mumbaikar a life in lockdown was not easy a place where people’s dream come true a city which never sleeps. But we all did pretty well.
We learned the importance of family during this lockdown. We realised how we cared about each other, we realised the importance of friends. But also at the same time, we have become the owner of our own time and our own space.
I know soon life will again overwhelm me with its pace and challenge, while I’m waiting to embrace life with the same zest.

I pray soon everything will be right in their place And everyone to have a happy and healthy life.

It’s starts from small things…

When people say “Shurvat chote se karo, success zaroor milega” they are somewhere true. As I have said many a time, everyone wants to be successful, be settle, build a bright future, but before building a future we need to build our own self and building yourself is not like a Lego game which will be done within few hours or it’s not gonna happen over a night.

It will happen slowly and gradually, it will happen when we focus on small things first, like unwrapping the tangled mess of your hair, picking up the brush and getting rid of one knot at a time. It may sound crazy but I swear if you pay attention on these small things you will feel change in yourself. Like smiling at your reflection in mirror and getting dressed each morning, even if you are not stepping out. Or maybe even to get some fresh air and coffee. Or maybe changing your look, a look in which you feel good. It’s about the tiny things that you do each day that bring you closer to feeling warm again.

It’s about being a person who care, who makes the effort for becoming a person who loves without hesitation. Be the person who bares it all, the person who never shies away from the depth of their feeling or intensity of their hope. Be the person who believe in the softness of the world, on the goodness of other people believing their are good people too. Be a person who take chance who refuse to hide. Trust me when I say be a person who care! Because the world doesn’t need more carelessness anymore disregard because there is nothing stronger than someone who continue to stay soft in the world that hasn’t always been kind to them. 🙂

Just a thought…

It was a cold breezy night, I was traveling with my family.. As it was past midnight everyone was asleep. I was there sitting enjoying the view from window, my mind full of positive thoughts, I was happy somewhere in my corner of  life. I realized something— that happiness was never about getting job, getting graduated or being in relationship.

Happiness was not about going ahead of everyone, showing that you are on top. But one day we are going to realize that happiness is all about the discovery, the hope turning into reality, seeing yourself growing, happiness was always about being kinder to yourself, it was about embracing the person you are becoming, realizing that love is not always about being in relationship. One day we will realize happiness was how you taught lesson to yourself, how we learned to live.. That your happiness was not in others hand.

There is no denying that people around you are going to make you happy are going to support you, but in the end it’s always about you and your own self. It’s never too late or in my case too early to be whoever you want to be. So next time when you are traveling have a thought on it 😉

Iss Diwali App kya karoge?

It was a dark moonless night when lord Ram the King of Ayodhya returned home with his wife Sita, after killing the demon Ravan. To honour and to rejoice the homecoming of King and Queen we celebrate Diwali.

No doubt, Diwali is the biggest festival for Indians. Where the house’s, institute, offices, our neighbourhood are full of lights, happiness, joy. Everything on this day feels positive be it decorating our house, eating delicious sweets, Dad’s surprise gift.. or maybe getting ready! Yaa for me this is the most exciting part!!

When I walk on the road during Diwali the glittery lights around me, the happy faces spread good vibes.. which is the best part of it.

Diwali is a festival that signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. However, in recent year, the extravagant celebration has not only put a great strain on the environment but also on people’s health.

It may seem a festival full of fun but the effects are not. As this year was full of environmental effect… How everything is changing drastically, be it plastic waste or maybe cutting down trees, we are creating more problems for our future. The Cracker cause pollution which fills the air with sulphur dioxide & carbon monoxide which are harmful to our health.

So why not this year we have little change? Let’s celebrate crackerless Diwali. Maybe our little change may create more happiness. I always use to like the tagline of Cadbury “iss Diwali app kise khush karoge”

So this year I made my own tagline..

” Iss Diwali app bhi ek umid ka diya Jalaye… Or apni Dharti ko pradushan se bachaye”.

Happy Diwali to all of you:)
